White dot on my T2i...

Hey, I had my T2i less then a month now, and just today I noticed a white dot (size of a pixel) on the screen, I thought the screen had a deadpixel so I took some video, then when I put it on computer the white dot was on the video.... So then I cleaned my lens, it was still there, I tried the automatic sensor cleaning and a different lens... still there... The only thing I haven't tried is manual sensor cleaner, do you think a white spec got on the sensor some how? Or do I have an actual dead pixel somewhere in the eletronics of the camera and I'm gunna have to RMA it..

dead pixels are usually not gonna be given an rma by canon unless you have a bunch of them. its part of having a 18mpx sensor. just live with it if it is. check out the sensor, but otherwise just edit it out.

Update: WOW I fixed it!! I found this thread suggusting to open then sensor for 1 minute with manual sensor cleaning to let the air density or something change and now it's gone! **** im so happy lol

I just ran across this thread. I too had the white pixel that I thought was dead. Followed the advice with the manual clean and IT WORKED!!!
I can't believe this worked, I was in an absolute panic.

Thank you for your post JohnFB!!!!!!!
