When is Adobe support for FS700 and Odyssey 7q coming?

Happy to hear a LUT is coming for that. On that note, what workflow do you guys use to get a chroma key from RAW footage? Do you just convert strait to DPX with the gamma correction? Do you do a basic adjustment first then convert? Looking for ideas.
Thank you.

I use the following quick method to sort the dailies:
1- Transfer all files into the same folder on the computer
2- run the CDClipMerger
3- sort your view by date (all folders are new created now)
4- put the new created (2K Slowmo) into a new folder "2K_Slowmo_DNG"
5- In DaVinci Resolve: open, correct and export it as ProRes into "2K_Slowmo_ProRes"

(6- I personally like to have all ProRes files not stored in separate folder – simply search for *.MOV and put the result into a separate folder)

@gene: I also would love to see compressed DNG recorded – compressing it later takes a lot of time.

This makes sense! Thank you!

So what do you guys think? Are they releasing the new CC on June 18, or are they just showcasing it?

Well they already announced it in a lot of detail at NAB, so just another announcement would seem to be pointless unless there's additional announcements for future versions or additional new features (which I think is unlikely) - I'm hoping it will be the full release on that date or very soon after.

I hope ur right! Feels like I've been waiting for this forever, guess we'll find out soon enough! :)

Just a heads up. I notice there's a new "Adobe After Effects CC 2014" installed. Unlike other updates i've seen, you'd actually want to replace your desktop shortcuts, etc, with the new 2014 versions.

Downloaded the CC update... DNGs appear to play/import fine and playback well on my 2013 Mac Pro... but here's a bummer I've noticed:

http://d.pr/i/hiM5

Clipped areas appear to turn magenta. And dialing down my highlights doesn't fix it. The DNG file doesn't look like that. Let me know if this is something I am doing wrong, because that is a very real possibility, haha.

Darn Josh, hope there's a fix for that.

Just got the updates installed here. You're able to just import the .dng as a file. Playback is perfectly smooth (i have semi-high end pc but nothing spectacular).

I was able to right click and "edit original", which brought it up in Photoshop ACR. I wasn't sure how to save the color correction in PP. Really just messed with it for a few minutes, looking forward to getting back to it. So far i'm REALLY excited, because it looks like i'll be able to use this 4K RAW with ease. Only hurdle is the sheer space the files require.

That's my quick impression!

Same here.

Yargh. That's in PP. Original file does not have it.

Does the download of the new 2014 ADOBE products automatically replace the old ones or do you keep both on your system? I am right in the middle of two projects and would feel safer knowing I can just bounce back to my previous version of Premiere all setup with with my plugin and such.

CC 2014 is a completely different product that will be installed along side (not on top of) your existing CC and/or CS programs.

Excellent, downloading now! Just got the 7Q in this week for my FS700 so the timing worked out great. I really thought Adobe was just gonna run a live stream demo video today. I am on PC so hopefully I wont have the Magenta Highlight problem...

Thanks!
