I use the following quick method to sort the dailies:
1- Transfer all files into the same folder on the computer
2- run the CDClipMerger
3- sort your view by date (all folders are new created now)
4- put the new created (2K Slowmo) into a new folder "2K_Slowmo_DNG"
5- In DaVinci Resolve: open, correct and export it as ProRes into "2K_Slowmo_ProRes"
(6- I personally like to have all ProRes files not stored in separate folder – simply search for *.MOV and put the result into a separate folder)
@gene: I also would love to see compressed DNG recorded – compressing it later takes a lot of time.
So what do you guys think? Are they releasing the new CC on June 18, or are they just showcasing it?
I hope ur right! Feels like I've been waiting for this forever, guess we'll find out soon enough!![]()
You've probably already seen it but the Adobe CC updates are now LIVE!Downloading now.
Downloaded the CC update... DNGs appear to play/import fine and playback well on my 2013 Mac Pro... but here's a bummer I've noticed:

Clipped areas appear to turn magenta. And dialing down my highlights doesn't fix it. The DNG file doesn't look like that. Let me know if this is something I am doing wrong, because that is a very real possibility, haha.
Yep.Yargh. That's in PP. Original file does not have it.
Yep.
Hopefully there is a cure! We are so close!
Does the download of the new 2014 ADOBE products automatically replace the old ones or do you keep both on your system? I am right in the middle of two projects and would feel safer knowing I can just bounce back to my previous version of Premiere all setup with with my plugin and such.
CC 2014 is a completely different product that will be installed along side (not on top of) your existing CC and/or CS programs.
Same here.
