What are you listening to now ?

Nice find. Love it.

I'm glad you liked it, it's nice to run into someone else who can appreciate Celtic music; I always feel like an outlier for liking Celtic music here in the Midwest, everyone else likes Country Or Pop.

I'm not sure how they got clean audio in that Fill-iú Oro Hú Ó video, that room looks like an echo chamber, and there weren't sound blankets on the floor, at least not near the singers.

Imamacuser: Good band. My parents named me after this band. :)

1st time watching this one now. That's it though and I gotta move on. :)

---------------
Bishop Briggs is pretty cool.

That's really cool Gordon, I hadn't run across them before; it's an amazing sound with all those bagpipes together. All those guys in Kilts reminds me of the song Donald Where's Your Troosers, I get a chuckle out of it every time I listen to it.

Dad loved the Irish Rovers as well. This LP was well listened to at our house in the day. It may be a little geeky now these days to post but here it is for prosperity sakes anyways.

I posted this one pages ago but here it is again. And I also bought one of Bad Pipers CD's a few years ago. I guess I could post one of his too. Hey...It's Friday.

And we have many Celtic type bands here in Canada, most around the East Coast. I'll post a couple later.
And I guess while I'm here, Bishop Briggs keeps cracking me up. She is rocking the bald head and even did a spot for Vogue.

She's cool.

The Unicorn song is funny, but I'm more a fan of traditional celtic songs, but I did really like their Titanic tribute song
.

My Dad really likes Western music, his favorite band is Riders in the Sky (they composed a song for Toy Story II). I went to one of their concerts with my Dad, and I was the only one there who didn't have gray hair.

Speaking of Canadians, my favorite Canadian musician is Jesse Ferguson, he has a great baritone voice.

Charlie Zahm is probably my favorite American musician.

The Corries are my favorite Scottish group.

McCartney will always be perfect.

I don't know what to listen to if anything tonight. Not sure where I want to go. Looking for some magic I guess. :)

I don't know if there is a song out there that can express what I'm feeling right now. 80% sure there is. It'll be by chance if I find it tonight. Right? :)

Good to see you're still around Gord.

Maybe because of all the angst in the world right now, this hit my weekend playlist.

Vladivostok is a portmanteau (in Russian) for the Vladelets (owner, ruler) of the East (Vostok), named sort of like a similar Russian town of Vladikavkaz (Ruler of the Caucasus).

Linda Perry formally of 4 Non Blonds (in post #2305). Gotta like her.

Mom sent me a copy of this recording on an 8-track tape many years ago. The rumour at the time was it was The Beatles in disguise. It wasn't as we found out later.
An image from my Linda Perry post above reminded me of that and "that" is a good note for me to end on tonight. :)

//Oh how I love editing my drunk-posts from the night before. I'm starting to wonder if I even speak/understand english anymore. -Cheers. ;)
