What are you listening to now ?

the soothing sound of Tinnitus, a new band that formed in my head over the last few years after playing drums for 25 years....wife and kid are sleeping and i'm in an empty house (moving tomorrow)...this is wierd.

Bono's best vocals.

P.s. I played loud music for years and now work in a (UGH!) paper mill, I suffer from it as well. It is at times maddening. Feel your pain.

That's what I was referring to. I played myself professionally full time for about 8 years and I don't have any links myself. But, hey, smoke 'em if you got 'em. That's all I meant.

Pink Floyd Live, Pulse, ofcourse. View it for a limited time here...

And please, need I say it, the sound and video from these purchased DVD's are 'incredible'. This is a preview youtube video with crap video and crap sound to introduce you to this album. Ya know? The DVD's smoke major as* with 5.1 sound on my humble system.
Imo, the best Pink Floyd purchase ever. I love these guys.

//Oh, I did not post these videos, btw. :)

Limited viewing time. :)

Patti Smith. Yikes. That's been a while. Last I remember hearing her was in the 80's singing something about , well, I can't even say it in public, even here, haha.

A little bit of blue grassy style from a childhood friend of mine. He doesn't play pro or anything. We were just chatting on facebook.

His newer stuff was played coast to coast in Canada over the CBC recently although I'm trying to aquire a public link from him to post for his newer stuff. Meantime, this is some of his other home recordings. Just him with his guitar at home.

Hey Mike, me too man. What are your voices saying? Mine aren't too encouraging but are generally positive. haha.

skynyrd-call me brezze. I used to play this one. poopoo me, that keyboard solo and others of his almost always burnt my finger/(+forearm & shoulder) muscles out pysically by the end of the song. My whole right arm would actually physically go numb for about 3 minutes after playing maybe 2 or so skynard songs with key solos in a row. No shi*.
Sometimes, in the middle of a song I had to drop my right arm completely and play lead key ryhthm with my left hand. And at least one guy in the audience thought I was trying to be a smart ass for doing that ( as if my right hand wasn't worthy of the effort he thought!).

Billy Powell was the man. He died at age 56 this year around Sept:28. There ya go. Ya never know.

-still one of my faves. Sorry the band broke up. Still, a great song and a great band. Here's the same song again :) (best cranked to around 500W in surround sound in a 12x12 room.:
