i think it would be fun for someone whos been scammed by him to contact as many of his other alleged victims as possible and schedule a day to all go to his house and just toss him around for a while...

As much fun as all this can be (and I certainly believe in outing scammers), I recommend a certain amount of discretion in the language used on a publicly viewed forum.

Joe Dono is back as user "End of Fall" - phone number (813) 802 7381.
He tried to get me to send him my hvx200, and mail it the same time he mailed me a cashier's check. scam city.
 
Oh whoa, this guy tried to sell me a Letus 35mm adapter a while ago. Luckily he didn't seem legit so I shrugged him off, glad I got the right vibe.

Funny thing is, his writing's like fingerprints- you can spot it in all his posts.

he's had several usernames on the forums here... and he just pissed me off.

I have some info on him already b/c he has a mile long paper trail all over the net. Redundancy is good though.

I will be personally contacting the sheriff's department and the d.a.'s office in Joseph's jurisdiction.

I have obtained all the personal information that I need on him (public records databases are not his friend) and am in the process of contacting various forums and websites who have had issues with him in the past and getting in touch with other people who have been allegedly scammed by this person to include in the case file.

If this person has allegedly scammed you and you would like to be a part of the case file, I would encourage you to shoot a pm over to me and I will give you my contact information. This persons arrogance, and complete disregard for any kind of authority is what has put him over the edge and will be his undoing (who smiles in their mugshot? he won't be this time). The paper trail on his (alleged) fraudulent activity is far reaching, and given that he already had felony charges brought up on him for fraud, and the authorities I will be providing this information to are already well aware of him, it's not looking good for him at all.

I encourage you to provide me with any information you have on your dealings with him. but, only if you are willing to see this through and if you have solid information. I already have all the personal information that I need. I'm just building a case file against him so that all the accusers charges can be delivered in a nice pretty package. Add them all up, and given that he will be a repeat offender... and you start to get the picture.

Dude attempted to scam someone using the name E-Studios, and also has account EJ-Productions.

Time to stick this. If you have or have had any dealings with this guy, please contact me immediately, and keep it on the down low even... The more I can get on him the better.

Particularly if you have been scammed. I want to know about it. I'm also in the process of contacting some of his favorite other forums over the years.

Disclaimer: This is not an endorsement that dvxuser will be involved on your behalf in buyer/seller disputes. still a buyer/seller beware market.

I'm doing this personally as a public service, and b/c the guy pissed me off... and I have a pet peave. :)

I was PMed by a DVXer who was allegedly scammed by Dono, I don't know the details.
I referred him to Jason.

I'm not sure why, but those user names look really familiar. Wow can't believe these stories !!! That's pretty tricky to setup an alias and giving yourself positive transaction comment. This guy lives pretty close to me, and I would have probably sold an item thinking I could just drive to him if he didn't pay. :violent5:



Maybe we/dvxuser should setup some sort of reward star when completing a positive transaction and a strike for the negatives.... Kind of like an approved selling/buyer thing.
