Vintage Lens Clip

How did you mount those lenses to your camera?

The Helios 44 lens has an M42 mount. The Mir 24 has a Nikon mount and the Zeiss has a Contax Yashica (CY) mount. You just get an M42 to EOS, Nikon to EOS and CY to EOS adapters and you are good to go. Adapters range from $10-20 on Ebay. I like the Fotodiox adpaters.

Great job! She's lucky to have a dad like you. Hard to believe it's only a month away!

I bet you had a big grin on your face the whole time while shooting.

nice job Mark. never seen an invite like that.

Did you resolve that metering prob? i woke up today, turned my cam on and its happening again. Maybe later it will go back to normal...who knows.

Darren.

Hi Darren,

Thanks and no, I have not found a solution to the metering problem on the 60D. I'm sorry the problem returned on your 60D.

oh its my 7D...hey it comes and goes. I had it this morning with the vivitar series 1 70-210 i just got today...turned it off and turned it back on and it was working again. Dont think its the camera cuz its fine with the only modern lens i have which is the tamron (which communicates witht he cam).

That's really weird. In my case, i think it is the 60D. I can use any number of manual focus lenses on the T2i and the exposure meter if fine. When I put that same lens on the 60D and the exposure meter is way off.
