Superflat is what I have been told many times to use.

I've seen some people even use 'Neutral'. But, with Neutral, I don't really see any difference in the image.

The thing about Superflat (0,-4, -2, 0) is that most of the time when I shoot the image is very dull. The colour is very crappy. I understand that you can change it in post, but can it be this flat?

Is it okay to use Superflat all the time? Indoor, Outdoors, etc?

Superflat definitely does not work with everything, as a matter of fact, I find it only works in certain situations. I am usually shooting neutral, -4,-4,-2,0

For the first number, the max is 7 and min is 0, So, basically the numbers you gave is the same as mine. - Superflat.

Superflat has cine gamma s-curve where as the neutral has a straight line. That why tend to see more detail in darks but it can create problems as well.
