Urine Trouble

Directors Log:
Our location is no longer available. I guess the Amtrak station doesn't wanna give up the mens room for 4 hours without having another, unisex bathroom as backup for dudes who have to pee. Setbacks galore!
 
Scored a new bathroom location, this time in a downtown office building. Current setback: main actor's face is ALWAYS stubbly, which doesn't work well for face-casting. he's worried he'll get his face-pubes ripped right out. I told him that would work well for the movie, but he's not that committed. dammit
 
The second and final shoot was completed today. Copious amounts of blood. The smell... well if we were able to distribute smell-a-rama cards along with a download... uggh... just be glad that we can't. But the shoot went beautifully and we almost finished at our scheduled time!

And a DVX Geeks horror of all horrors!!! We forgot to bring a protective UV filter for the dvx, and blood was seriously everywhere. Living on the edge. the stupid edge.

Grats on finishing up your shooting and overcoming your setbacks. Can't wait to see what this is all about :)
 
The smell was so thick I could see it. Props to our main actor, when we had him lay on the ground he got bits of the "monster" in his hair, which then fell into his eye after standing up. It stung, I'm sure, all that paradichlorobenzene...

Man, that is a nasty image.

I thought of you guys last week when I got hired to shoot a car race. Didn't know what I was in for and it turned out to be a rinky-dink short track way out in the boonies. The place was O-L-D. I went to the restroom and it was one of those cinder block structures, poured concrete floor and rusty porcelain fixtures with a "thick smell." The best part was that the latrine was one of those long trough styles with the rusty pipe running the length of it and a steady drip of water dropping from a few holes. Just nasty. But I thought of you guys and the "monster" that could come out of that thing!

Almost took a picture of it but I didn't even want to take my camera in there!
 
That sounds like a beautiful place, theatre guy... I bet you're glad THIS didn't happen to you:::::::

ok that's one of the most horrible things I've seen here. Reminds me of the bathroom scene in "I Spit On Your Grave". I imagine this guy would freak out about as much.
