Trailer for "BAC Again - Last Call" (7D)

This must be the dumbest post + racist one I have seen on these boards. First of all when I meant color it did not mean "black" people, it meant "color" which is anything other than white.

I did not say a movie had to have it, but it just seemed odd when I saw the trailer for the first time and did not notice it. Second if you are watching a movie such as Crouching TIger you know that it will be of a certain race so that analogy was beyond idiotic.

Finally as a director a good casting call is part of your job, the world is bigger than just the neighborhood you live in and having diverse talent in your film will make you go a long way. Yes I am still interested in watching this movie , but people take an opinion of mine and put it out of context.

You need to consider your own words before you type them out.
"the world is bigger than just the neighborhood you live in..."
So if the neighborhood you live in has no people of "color", then it's okay not to include them in a film about your neighborhood? I'm thinking you'll say "no". Or maybe you'll reconsider your stance.

I'm Hispanic by the way. My wife is half American/Anglo and Spanish. We always look at each other and roll our eyes whenever the token person of "color" shows up in TV advertising. You are just perpetuating racism with your attitude.

I'm...curious? I've been noticing that a LOT on the boards lately. What exactly is the issue with NOT having a person of colour in a movie? Are you kidding me? That would turn you off of a movie?

Jesus, I will never understand people.

<--- That's me in case you guys thought I was making a racist comment.

Footage looked good William and well edited.

Awaiting the 11th!

Well, that comes kind of out of left field.

Looks good William!

Nice composition, great camera movement, nice tight edit.

I'll bet you are glad it is finally done, huh?

The poster cleared up what he meant in a following post, though you're right - my post was unnecessarily harsh (and poorly thrown together, I might add).

The final film was great! Agreed with tight editing.
