TORN - a film by Rodney Smith

I had the weirdest dream last night about this movie and it was seriously poo pooed up. It's actually chainging how I'm lookign at the script, so I;m goign to try a different angle here.... see how the rewrite comes out...

I get some of my best ideas for stories while dreaming. The feature script I'm working on started life as a scene from a dream. Your subconscious can work on things without being censored. Listen to it!

Looking forward to this, Rodney! :)

No. Just adjusting my mindset and dealing with my day. I had plas to look at a location for Torn today but now i'm not goign to have time. I have a TV appearance to deal with to promote the webseries and that kind of supercedes this. It makes me just want to graba acamera, grab a locationa nd just go and shoot and get it over with so the shoot it out of the way and done...

I love and hate location scouting at the same time! Hate to do it, but when you find that one perfect place it makes it all worth it.

I feel the same way. I ended up getting an old Laundromat for my film #19. The owners gave us cart blanche (sp?) to hack it apart. So i built the basement set there from scratch, with fake stairs etc.. It took several months and about 800. to complete, but it was easier that finding the ideal location that the script called for.

MARLON #19 is on its way to your mailbox right now!

RODNEY: Bring on the sickness with this shoot!!!!
I want to get demented with the Soundtrack!!

Poster looks real good. Best so far. Hope you have better luck with things this time round.

Update Please!!!!!! We know your working on three other films at once, but WE WANT TORN!!! :-)

Sorry guys, a little more swamped than I thought i would be. I'm officially bowing out of Thrillfest. BUt I will try to surface from all of my editing on the series to come out and watch the entries. Good luck to all of you.

Now I have a webseries to go finish and launch by Thanksgiving...

Aww, man. That's too bad. I was looking forward to it. Guess I'll just have to look forward to the web series instead ;-).
