Top 5 must have lens for a GH1?

Thank you, Richy!
And what do you think about GH1 with Sigma EX AF 17-35mm f2.8-4 HSM lens? It should give very good results, I think. Or not?
Anyone else too?

Slower lenses like the f/2.8-4 can limit your creative possibilities slightly, but would be solid enough as a moderate wide angle zoom.
Given the choice I'd take a selection of faster primes any day.
If your heart is set on a zoom I would say the Tamron 17-50/2.8 is a better option. It's very reasonably priced and constant aperture is a blessing.

I came up with all these pricing tiers, and thought, just make it simple: if you could have any 5 lenses for your m43 system, what would it be?

Voigtlander 25mm f/0.95
Voigtlander 50mm f/1.1
Panasonic 35-100mm f/2.8 OIS
Panasonic 12-35mm f/2.8 OIS
Canon FD 85mm f/1.2L

Yeah there's plenty of great lenses out there, which is why I and many others have more than 5. If you're in near-complete control of your shooting circumstances (non-event/documentary), then the Voigtlander 25 is just going to be able to do so much. Can't wait for the 42.5mm. Praying it's sub $1000.

An old thread, not even sure how much things have changed.

Love my Voigtlanders and various legacy lenses, but in terms of full function, it's hard to argue with an all-Lumix collection:

7-14
12-35
PL 25/1.4
35-100
100-300

All excellent glass.

Of course if you're one of those anti-Lumix folks, and have no need of OIS, then I'd go with a 3rd party Nikon mount quintet:
Tokina 11-16
Tamron 17-50
Sigma 50-150
Rokinon 24/1.4
[insert something else here]

Or you could make an SLR magic prime set. Or a Voigtlander prime set. Or that insane forthcoming Ibelux 40/.85 lens. Or whatever. With MFT, you only have about every lens made in the last 70-odd years to potentially utilize.
