card won't show up in log+transfer window

hello. please help me. i'm working on a project with the hvx. i've been using the camera as an import device. everything has been smooth until today. today i mounted the camera and i can see the card on the desktop, but it will not show up in the log and transfer dialogue window. i've been using this system for weeks and there hasn't been a snag. i have not changed my settings. i did send a mpeg4 via ftp, but would i have changed anything for that process that would have affected log and transfer. should i download the p2 drivers again? pls. advise.
 
first, if you're connected via firewire, just mounting P2 cards as drives, the drivers don't make any difference. but, 2 things I can think of;

1. restart FCP after mounting the card,
2. do you have two cards in the camera and only one is mounting, maybe an empty one? try removing the empty card, and start over.
 
i was only trying to log one card. it mounted on the desktop with no problems. but it did not appear in the log and transfer window. i can't figure out what is happening.
 
Another option is to copy the entire contents of the P2 card in question to another location (e.g., external HDD) and then open that folder in the log and transfer window.
 
Do you have an older copy of FX Factory installed on the computer? Or an older demo of FX FActory? Version 1 interfered with P2 import. removing or updating to 2.0 will resolve the issue.
