Tokina 11-16mm I vs 11-16mm II

Does anyone have any hands on experience or links to direct comparisons between the original 11-16mm and the new one. I've found many conflicting reviews.

That's what I thought until I noticed that this guy has over 50,000 subscribers and over 150,000,000 views. The most watched camera review on You Tube. I could learn a few things about marketing from that guy.

DigitalRev is incredibly popular for camera and gear-related reviews. He can sometimes be annoying, but they also do pretty great reviews. They do decent, fair reviews that are also entertaining (for the most part).

Are you sure ?

Both zooms are speced with the same lens/lens group number.

If I recall correctly the new version have only improved coating and lens motor.
