Time Freezing SGpro

It is a add on to the DVX that lets you shoot at 300fps.

Actually its just a After Effects plugin.
I'd link you but the site isn't loading for me.
It is made by Re:Vision
It is pretty cool, even though I don't know how to use it.

as you went to slow it down should of focused on to the background subjects like the girl walking across the street would of been cool. just my 2cents

flipsidekrew - my camera settings were 30p, -4 detail, -7 master ped, everything else 0 and default i think

wow, that is so cool!!!
it looks like you shot in 100fps or something.

I wounder how that plug-in makes it that smooth.
very nice.

I am pretty sure it builds new frames after analyzing previous and future frames. It does a good job but I am sure it can do much better in the right hands.

Steven thanks, but i meant what were your settings for the Twistorix, because everytime i try to use it i'm never able to look as smooth as that. The image gets warped.

Thanks in advance

Oh my bad. I actually didn't change anything in twixtor other than the frame rate and the output speed. I usually have the same warping problem as you. I am sure you can work around it, I just don't know how, I am still trying to learn how to use the program

This thread inspired me to do some slow mo stuff, I used the 60i method in after effects, then once I got that to a 24p file I used twixtor to slow it down another 50 percent. It is incredibly smooth. I will post up some footage later.

There's actually a really in depth manual out on twixtor that I skimmed through one time. If you want to take the time to read it and try to understand it you could do some pretty sick stuff with it. It's on the revision site here: http://revisionfx.com/products/twixtor/support/ Just click on the after effects blue button and its the huge 219mb file.
