First, a big thank you to everyone who took the time to make and enter a film. Regardless of the outcome, it is definitely a huge achievement just to get that far. Many start the journey, but few complete it. So hats off to those of you who completed and entered.

We've enjoyed the films and appreciate the effort that was put into creating them.

And now, without further ado, here are your top 6 finalists (in alphabetical order):

  • At Last - Michael Anthony Horrigan
  • Early Retirement - Richard J. Johnson
  • Negative Image - Darkline
  • Phantom - AJ Brooks
  • The Wallet - Mike Manning
  • Vaccine - Matt Harris

And an honorable mention goes to Deadline by Noel Evans which was safely in the list of finalists, but is exhibition due to his being a moderator.

Congratulations to everyone who entered... and best of luck to the finalists... Remember, you are rating each film individually. This is a star system.. it is not a ranking system. You can have 3 films a 7, two as a 6, four as an 8... whatever... just think of it like putting stars on a video at youtube.

You can view and rate the films you haven't yet rated that are on the finalists list using the same url as before....

Rating for round 2 will continue until November 7th.


 
Congratulation to the finalists. I enjoyed much more than six films in this fest - a big thank you to the other filmmakers for the great effort and hard work to put a short together.

Congratulations finalists. Look forward to see how this places out. Those top six are unique in that they all have different strengths that stand them apart.
 
Man I feel so slow these days. Congrats to everyone. Looks like I have to films to finish watching, but good job to those who made it. Solid work all around.
