I've been devouring your blog about the AF-100 ever since it was mentioned here. Thanks for the update. You rate the ISO at a clean 640? Black balance seemed to get rid of a lot of noise in the shadows? Phenomenal.

I can't wait to get my fidgety hands on this camera. I've worked with the DVX (the DVX brought me here), the HVX, and have been holding my horses for the large sensor version of the camera from Panny.

I fear I'll be in heaven shortly.

Barry, what is your take on the black balance Timur noted on? Was the camera black balanced when you shot with Leo?

That 630-800 estimate seems more consistent with the footage I saw from the other tests in Japan and Europe. That's encouraging, and would be a plausible explaination for what I saw yesterday.
