Nothing will go up for a few days guys. Im under lock and key. Part of the whole "having the camer for 5 days unsupervised" thing.... i had to promise not to post any footage or stills.

I WILL buy this camera. 100%

And i'm the pickiest guy around.
 
im curious to see some comparisons or your thoughts between the observed quality of the F3 versus the AF100 without pixel peeping. Just perceived image quality without dueling too much on the actual image mechanics.

I'm really fed up with people referring to others, particularly those who make balanced, unemotional observations about what they're seeing as"whiners" and "complainers". There are legitimate questions being raised to be answered. The presence of wild accusations don't necessarily invalidate the observations of many other people here, who are professionals. That is how we find answers, and make improvements. "Everything's fine so shut up" leads nowhere.
 
Well this project I'm working on is a real world trial. What it actually does, can do, and will do. Its not to shut anyone up. Just to show how the tool performs under the best circumstances we can give it.

@ 800 ISO its about as clean as i could ever hope for. 1600... is highly acceptable to me.

i'll shoot something on 50mm F1.4 canon EF lens, on my 5DmkII, and then on the AF100.

When i can post footage i'll put it up.

Bloom was very pleased with 3200 ISO on the GH2. Any chance for good video at 3200 on the AF100.

oh, and ps... why was i not invited to this league of extraodinary gentleman club shoot out with the af100?

I would have expected by now 5 years membership would grant me a free flight to wherever this camera may be...
