Well, my Mad Scientist Father has been engineering a Giant Crane that will have the capability to move on the X and Y axis for future endeavors. We will use it on Thirst and hopefully some other Fresnan projects. Here is a picture of it. i think he made it for about 120.00

Hey thanks guys. Glad you like the poster. Here are some early environment tests. I am using VUE 6 xStream for some effects in THIRST.

Go get 'em, Matt. Did you take that original photo?

Which one? If you mean the 1st environment test, that is completely created in VUE 6 using environment atmospheres, textures, and digital goodies. I am just getting a grasp on the program. That is the coolest thing I have done with it so far, but I need to do much more if I want to pull this off. Thanks for stopping by!

Will be completely CG?

Hey Simon! Thanks for stopping by. The photo of you with the axes is priceless. Show that to the someday boyfriends of your someday daughter and they will be quite respectful of her.:Drogar-Evil(DBG):

THIRST will not be entirely CG but if all goes well, a large part of it will be. I am stretching my CG legs to see how it feels as well as testing the amount of time and work it takes to make this short so I know for a large future project. I am learning as I go, so tutorials are my friend.

Hmm, yeah, I guess it kind of worked if I thought it was some real photo. :)

Hooray! :)

Now the trick will be to make that level of realism work with actual footage of real people. That will be what probably kills me due to my head exploding or spontaneous combustion...at the least, my computer may kill me just for thinking I can do this. haha:zombie_smiley:

This the great stuff! I'm glad you're in & looking forward to this one.
I bet you use that new crane in this one....I hope?
