Maybe the next fest will be a Mobster Fest and you can do a movie about Al Cacone. Or even a remake of Cone Air.

Nemsis- LMFAO! You made me think of a new equation that this thread must adopt in order to judge the coneage.

i might need some help with a math wiz on here, but this is what I have so far:

(Occurances of "CONE" in the post)
---------------------------------------- + (Total words x .1) = Cone Factor
(Total # of words)

So in your post above, Nemesis- 2/6=.333333 + (6 x .1) = .933333333
Not bad. A cone factor of almost 1.

I was trying to weight it towards posts with a higher overall word count.

So, your post #67 with 68 total words and 7 cones would score in at 6.9

Maybe my math is faulty. Perhaps someone with more brain cells can cone up with a better formula.

UPDATE--- Today.

OK. Just thinking about this.... Usually there is a lot of secrecy with my festival entries and the thread is posted at the last moment. This time I'm thinking of going the opposite direction, since the cones are already 'out of the bag'.

At this point, I'm really thinking it will be a RAP MUSIC VIDEO, with a western theme and flair.
BUT- since we live in VT, there's not much besides horses and green pastures, so I need some backgrounds and would like to make this more of a community project to have more variety.

Is anyone who lives near the desert/ rockies/ beach/ stagecoach/ horses in the west/ dusty ghost town/ grand canyon, willing to shoot some backgrounds for this? Multiple people would be great. The more the merrier. Any camera that shoots 1080p will work. And hey, how about some chaps over the pond too?

These are easy shots that require no movement so it could be done during shooting your own movie, and in the same setting it might be funny as an inside joke.

Anyone interested to work on this?

Also looking for someone to produce the track for the song if rap beats are your thing. (with a country western flair) We'll record the vocals with Kevin and Andy in my studio.
 
Tim i'll have plenty of scenic backgrounds at 1080p to send you when im done shooting.

Also I'm a hip hop producer here in LA, I have a gazillion beats for you to use.
I even have some old west hip hop, or i can make you a western hip hop track from scratch.
i'll post you an ftp of beats whenever you're ready.
