This is my first attempt at a short film. Scheduling is really tight right now, but I am hoping to finish this project and submit it. Don't expect too much!

SICK! I'm glad you're going through with it!

Did you overhaul the script after sent it to you? Lol. Would have done more to it, but I had to contend with Blackout rewrites, Cub Scouts, and a family five. :Drogar-Smoke(DBG):

I really had to do some revisions, but SOME of the stuff stayed the same. I am actually re-shooting a few scenes and hopefully I will add more of what was originally in the script.

Sweet! If we had been in the same city it would have been easier for me to get your idea, but I have faith you'll rock it.

SICK!

I see the recorder!

Lol

Haha, yeah. I am hoping that this will be at least watchable. My schedule for filming sucks since I am too occupied with work and working around other peoples schedules. At least I can be satisfied to finish this one. The next film however will be major pre-planning.

Also, more color correcting is to come. Just sample images! Haha.

me likey. i see now why you had to cut the woods and mud. lol. i miss snow...

good job though. i dug the visuals.

forgive my lack of caps. have a 3 month old in my arms.

Thanks. I can't say I'm too too happy with it. Always room for improvement. The exterior scenes had to be shot on that one day and it happened to be -a million degrees. Couldn't even really set anything up. Just went out, shot it and used whatever was shot (which came out bad). Not trying not to make too many excuses, but its hard to be happy with something you know you could have made better. It is my very first short, so I'm proud in a way I finished. I guess I learned my lesson for basically doing it all on the fly. Can't wait for the next fest now.

Im going to better organize my time for the next fest, so if you need a full-on writer, hit me up. I felt shitty about not being able to do a lot of rewrites and such on this one.

Definitely an interesting take on the psychopathic and disassociative personality disorder type formula. Certainly a disheartening twist at the end!

I was really attracted to the droning tones of the music used. It complemented this once chaotic atmosphere-now-still feeling. I was really impressed with the exterior cinematography, especially the shot of the fire. The black smoke and the high shutter speed combined with a tighter shot of the flames worked to great effect.

Even though I feel that films of this nature are sort of a trapping for younger filmmakers (we all fall into traps, pitfalls, and cliches here and there), you still handled it very well. The tape recorder is a crucial element in this formula, and you used it very well.

Nice work.

As disappointed as I was with my own film, your response was a nice surprise. I did not expect to get very many positive comments about it. Thanks a bunch!

I really liked this film and I love the poster! It was simply shot, but the VO work was outstanding. Only thing I would have liked was if the ending look was a little crazier/scarier.

Great job!
