The Small Multiple

H - O - L - Y C - R - A - P ! ! ! ! ! This was amazing. Hard to believe it was Indie made.

So, this, along with a few other films I've watched, received a score of "10" from me. That said, however, this is my favorite. I really like the others as well, but this was just perfect on every level, I felt.

Story, writing (LOVED the dialogue, expertly read as well), the acting (best in the fest, in my opinion, by BOTH leads), camera, lighting, sound, music, ART DIRECTION (WOW!), and the list goes on...

I don't gush over someone's film too often, but again ... wow.

I'm SO glad this made the top 8, otherwise I may never have watched it, as there were SO many, and I had a hard time getting through them all.

Again, congratulations ... it was simply wonderful.

Oh, one last side thought ... I was curious to know how he knew his wife would be okay, or was with him in another dimension ... but not enough for it to matter to me ... it was THAT good. :)

Congrats on making the top 8! As if there were ever any doubt. I'll be on the New York-end of the webcast rooting for The Small Multiple on the 11th!
 
How did I miss this film, or the discussion thread? I'd watched maybe 75% of the films in the fest, and hadn't heard about the Small Multiple until I saw the top 8 (I'd seen the other finalists). If it was being enthusiastically talked about, I missed it. Nothing against 02, which has so much going for it, but this film, The Small Multiple, is so exceptional and it seems 02 get a ton more attention. I'm very, very impressed...as I guess you all were too since it did get into the top 8. I guess I wasn't paying attention.

Thanks for the kind comments! This is the first DVXFest we have entered so I don't expect to get near the attention that the Fat Monster crew does...and the attention they have gotten is certainly well deserved!

When you look at their thread you get to see pictures of awesome spaceship sets, a hot chick and all kinds of cool stuff! You look at mine and all you get to see is a ratty old room! :D

Anyway, thanks for checking out the film! I appreciate your comments and I know that we are all very excited to be included in the Top 8 along with such great competition!

Thanks man! Unfortunately it is looking like I will not make it on the 11th... :( But we are planning on having a "viewing party" here and watching the streaming webcast!

So, you guys that do get to attend in person better live it up (make it more exciting for the rest of us to watch)! :D

Wow the competition is stiff in this contest. This was a really good movie. I thought it looked and sounded really good. The set with the machines looked good and the time/dimension travel was handled really well.

Very good script and I liked the twist at the end. Really good job on this film.

Didn't your Scriptfest Entry win the last contest ("God's Warehouse")? I think I read part of your entry but never got around to finishing it...a good story from what I remember!
