... trying to pick a fight? i'll eat you alive both with filmmaking skills and in the ring if it comes to that. just tell me how you like it.

The D300 is being heavily discounted and some stores are listing it as discontinued, the D400 can't be far away.
It's Matt, Jack and Zak vs Kholi, Hunter and Philip with me impaled on the fence
well, if you could see some of the PM's going back and forth, you'd know there was a good deal of fraternizing with the enemy on my part.
thanks, i think so too, but think about what people can do with the next generation? you may have noticed that my company name is too much too soon, the gh1 looks like too little too late. ;-)Mattias trailer looks very good indeed. He was able to get a great image out of his D90. I am sure he'll be able to do the same with the GH1.
but think about what people can do with the next generation?
must say, i agree with Mattias thus far. I haven't seen much from the GH1 that rivals the D90 in terms of color and luminance. And it does lack that cinematic quality I covet. for me, these are the most compelling reasons behind choosing what I shoot with. And I can easily work within the limitations of the D90's slow read/reset, as I did on Model/Photographer, until I buy a Scarlet or two.![]()
Haven't seen it posted here.
what's interesting is why. the 5d takes the most beautiful pictures, no doubt, with the d90 second in my opinion, but neither have manual controls and 30p is useless, and the d90 uses too much compression. the gh1 has manual control, 24/25p and a much better codec than the d90, but the image just doesn't look as good to me. anybody agree or disagree?
