The official "I got my AF100" thread

Ordered my AF100 from B & H a little while back. My tracking still says they are waiting for stock. I figured I would receive my Af100 before my GH2 but oh well. Still really excited to have both of them for a new kit!
 
Now, there isn't snow here in Parma there was it 3 weeks ago.
The reason for the delay is the snow for sure, my dealer waited for the cameras since December 23rd.
I'm lucky enough to use the AG-AF100/101 for 3 times (2 times in Italy and one in Japan), it's not so new for me! :o)
 
B&H order says "In stock, order sent to warehouse" - so I guess today they will send out the cameras.
 
Just got mine a few hours ago from Adcom ;-)
and if not as good as it promises to be, it makes the perfect iron!!!

My bh order says camera should be here tomorrow. Ups tracking order said the camera was to be shipped today but the snow storm held up shipment. I live in Michigan.

Really? Hmm, I will be checking back throughout the day then. I figured that I would most likely only see the camera mid january!

still says "In stock, order sent to warehouse " poop;.
 
Checking B&H status says my AF100 is backordered.
UPS Tracking on all the other items I ordered says great weather related things like... EMERGENCY CONDITIONS BEYOND UPS' CONTROL and ADVERSE WEATHER CONDITIONS.
So I imagine it will be some time.
 
I ordered mine from B & H, late, admittedly Dec. 15, made inquiries this morning
and received this from one of their sales persons.

Unfortunately, Panasonic has pushed back the delivery of this camera to the point that we are hoping for a March/April arrival.

A great number of people are anxiously awaiting this camera, both sellers and buyers. It will be a relief when it is here.

SO they will have my $ 5000 for three months +
Not cool what so ever, when I placed my order 2-4 weeks delivery time was stated.
That was the basis for my order.
think I will have to do some emailing to B & H

The worse part of this is, MY camera is sitting at B&H a mile away from where I sit. I could go pick it up right now and be out testing in the post-apocalyptic blizzard that is NYC. I've got the week off, Im snowed in and have nothing to do but be on dvxuser nerding out. DAMN ME for saving $400 on tax by shipping it to Massachusetts!!.


Who here would pay the extra $400 to be able to pick theirs up today instead of say Friday or next Monday?. Be honest. Lol..
 
Hi i am new to this forum, i pre ordered my af100 from BH on the 22nd of November my order status still says back-ordered and i haven't received any emails from them, i was really hoping to get it someday this week. what do you guys think any one ordered as late as i did and still got a tracking number?
 
Your not helping my wallet Barry, I'm so close to saying screw it and paying the tax. Now if someone were to rent it for 2 days before Monday...
