Synder's it I guess.
I wonder how many of Superman's punches will be in slow motion?
I think after Superman Returns, they're looking for something that's as far away from the Donner movies as possible. One name I haven't seen anyone mention who would do it justice is Peter Jackson. After seeing what he did with King Kong, he is caple of anything.
@CallaghanFilms: Hiring director Zack Snyder is about as good an idea for Superman as steeplechase was...
(via twitter)...
Probably.I have a hard time seeing audiences getting behind a new Superman film in the way the studio is hoping.
Superman himself is just too different from the darker and more down-to-earth superhero films that audiences expect these days. Superman is too invincible, and Clark Kent is too much of a Boyscout.
Superman would almost be better off being in a movie where he is not the central protagonist, like a Justice League film or something.
However, I look forward to seeing what Zack Synder does with the character.
Probably.
But I think Superman will have a much bigger chance at an audience than Captain America will. At least outside the US.
Boy scout Superhero dressed in the American flag, origin as a war hero?
They're gonna need to do A LOT of promotion for that one. But I guess if they can sell Fantastic Four 2 and Attack of the Clones, they can sell anything.
Absolutely. Where he could just leap tall buildings and not fly, right? The smartest decision they made was setting it in the 40's during WW2. That should make the pill go down easier. They are also titling it First Avenger: Captain America, so overseas they can just call it First Avenger...I'd love to see a 50's era Superman, done in the style of those old Fleischer cartoons.
I guess it's Snyder.
Synder's it I guess.
It's offical, Zack Snyder will be the next director. Here's the article. http://www.nydailynews.com/entertai...s_director_with_jon_hamm_rumored_to_star.html
However, I look forward to seeing what Zack Synder does with the character.
According to yahoo, Zack Snyder has been chosen to direct.
I don't think Snyder is Locked in, its looking like Robert Zemekis may take the helm.
