FEATURE: THE LOST CHILDREN - A FEATURE FILM by Mark Harris

I've always wanted one of those pictures directors like to have, of them next to some big film camera, pointing or looking through the viewfinder. Well, there are no big film cameras on this movie, so I had to settle for this ten year old Hi-8 camcorder. On which we shot one of our most powerful scenes, BTW.

Aug 22, SUNDAY SUNDAY SUNDAY! NYC!

We are staging a massive massacre scene and seeking some more volunteer victims.

-Ever wished you could be brutally murdered on camera?
-Like the feel of fake blood on your skin?
-Ever wished you could actually see your own entrails(or a reasonable facsimile of the same)?

PM me if you you's like to come be stabbed and beaten and generally made dead for our film.

Oh yeah, I will have some beer there too.

Well in the story, it's like 31. But in the darkness and chaos of the scene, I think we can get away with half that or less. It all happens in narrow hallways of a dorm-type building. In the dark. The whole scene lit with flashlights and moonlight, basically.

So we can fake quite a bit of it, I think.

Also would use some make-up help if anyone in town is interested.

Wish I was around those parts to help you out, Mark. I think you can definitely get away with half if it's going to be dark. You could use people twice if you had too, depending on how you're shooting it.

Sounds like a very cool scene. Can't wait to see this when it's finished.
Good luck!

too sexy :love4:

The guy who plays the cult re-programmer is very good! Nice idea for a film, always found these freaks fascinating:grin:

One thing I talked about earlier, was the Alternate Reality Game I'm working on related to the film. This is sort a promotional tool designed to let you explore aspects of the film world through your smartphone.

I will be starting a series on New Breed about the process I'm going through for this, but if this has ever been something you've been interested in, I would welcome some collaborators: writers, graphics, it's not all just technology. So just gimme a shout if you want.

Act I is about 2 weeks from being ready for a focus group. If you want to take part, and give feedback, let me know.

I love how involved the lost children website is. its like, you wrote a script, but essentially youve written a book, and scattered the deatail all over the internet, and film. This project is incredibly interesting. Im proud to have worked on it. :)

Oh there's a LOT more too, my friend. That's only the tip of the iceberg. :)

I will add you guys. I need to get hold of some normal people too. Meaning, non-filmmakers who have no interest in my success. Though I know you guys can be objective and give good feedback, I also will need some people who just want a good movie.
