FEATURE: The Long Road Home - An Adam J McKay (and team) film.

Hey, Adam. I saw your message about the boards here. I know how frustrating it can be when nobody responds. The board gets really quiet sometimes, but I think in your case it's more because there's not much going on with production right now. There's alot of pre-production, but it seems that people usually want to see footage, screengrabs and read interviews and articles. Even with all that stuff it can still be hit or miss around here.

Hey, thanks a lot for the encouragement. I do also think that it has a lot to do with this not being my first kick at this can. I think it will be the boy who is crying wolf until everyone on the boards sees the wolf. We have another 5 weeks until 3 weeks of production and then things are going to pick up. But thanks for taking the time to post. At least I know someone is reading it.

HELLO. Quick update. We have officially started production. There will be stuff coming, but due to the fact that it is literally a 4 person crew right now, we really don't have the time to be posting anything. I am finding it hard to even tweet, let alone post the involved posts I would like to be posting on here. I can assure you however, that as soon as the film wraps, things are going to be picking up. I have a whole slew of cautionary tales for first time filmmakers with limited budgets. I intend on producing a DO's and DONT's list in the near future as well. Thanks for reading check back in a few weeks.

Love,
Adam

Posted a couple screen grabs, the jpeg compression is horrible, but you get the gist of it. I will be completely overhauling the first few posts in this thread in the coming weeks with more grabs, hopefully some BTS and my version of the dos and dont's. Thanks for your patience.

Keep going! I know it feels overwhelming sometimes, but keep at it! Looking forward to more (including your list of do's and don'ts :)).

I have added the new trailer to the front page of this thread. I am going to abort this thread in start a new one in the coming weeks. Hopefully with some more information that sums up our process in a good couple posts. Until then watch the trailer, again feedback is not only welcome, but needed.

Quick update. The aspect ratio in the above film is slightly off, it is being replaced as we speak with the correct version. Thanks.
