I would never use this as a professional tool, it looks way too flimsy, way too easy to damage, almost scary if you were on set especially that articulating LCD rubbish.

Well, compared to the 60D, the T2i is a plastic toy. I use it "professionally". I shot a spot that's 100% t2i - just saw it on Comedy Central. I billed something like $10k in day rates for T2i shoots within about 60 days of owning it. I own all kinds of "professional" gear. The T2i is quite at home with the rest of it.

I'm having a hard time seeing how the articulated LCD screen would be all that beneficial.
Anyone have good examples of when it would be helpful or even clutch?
I use a Lilliput with my 550D, I'd far rather have that than an articulating screen any day.

So have we had it confirmed yet that the AGC issue is solved with the audio?
Surely they've fixed this now?

I've never been able to find anything other that you can adjust audio levels BEFORE recording, but nothing on AGC.
Unfortunately I think you are kidding yourself if you think the video mode of the 1ds is even 5% better than the video mode of a t2i. In camera noise reduction isn't a feature so much as a crutch.I would be interested in seeing the spot, in all seriousness I am interested in the quality, and even the 5D is a toy for a professional, im not saying it doesn't work in a pro setting but everyday work the things are no match to the might 1D series, 30 years experience tells me so.
Has anyone found what the resolution out from the hdmi is during recording?
