I mean seriously, why is it really a problem when you are trying to make a movie about a current situation? I mean why not make a movie when the idea is fresh in your head? I think making a movie on a current political situation or what not can make GREAT movies. Making movies is an artform right? And an artform is an expression of oneself right? Well, I would guess if there is a current situation that is effecting you emotionally wouldn't you want to express it? DUH! I suppose you hate movies like Casablanca then huh?
