Tamron 17-50 VC

Well I personally really like the 17-50mm VC version. It gives a nice sharp picture (for me anyway) and the VC helps handheld a lot. Also because it's constant f2.8 I can do snapzooms on the fly and shoot with somewhat lower light compared to my kit lens 18-135mm. Only real problem is the focus ring.

Can you hear the VC motor when recording with the camera's internal mic?

i havent noticed it although i rarely film in dead quiet situations and rarely rely on the internal mic for all my audio.
