T2i-B&H Out of Stock

agh! B&H and Adorama and Precision backordered!
is the best thing to just order one from one of these places and wait for it to come in? I doubt I will find out fast enough when one of them gets 10 or 20 in...

Depends on where you live. You might be able to find one in an actual camera or electronics store nearby.

I bought mine at a Fry's Electronics, and the camera with kit lens was selling for only $811.

At Adorama we don't charge your cc until your order actually ships; if you pre-order the T2i from us and then find it somewhere else faster, just drop me a quick email: helen.oster@adoramacamera.com, with your order number, and I will cancel your order with Adorama right away!
 
Canoga Camera has the kit in stock...its also tax free (at least for me in NY...idk how it works in other states).

I'm holding my breath and wishing they don't send an email saying their actually out of stock.
 
Adorama backordered the unit after I purchased Monday night. I called to get an expected delivery date and the guy just offered to cancel my order (including another lens and SD card). Guess he didn't want to keep me as a customer.

I called up Calumet in Chicago. They had the kits only in stock, no bodies. I bit the $100 bullet and got the kit. UPS tracking says it will show up tomorrow.

Calumet are great guys with quick, personal service. Give em a try!
 
Wow... first I bought one from Precision camera.. then canceled.. then adorama.. then canceled... and finally I just ordered from B&H. B&H has never let me down so I'm praying not to get a out of stock e-mail from them!!

And by the way, I noticed these places don't charge for sales tax.... which is awesome!! But if I file this as a tax deduction, are they going to ding me for this??
 
Just bought one from my local Fry's... they had it on sale for $811.99 (kit). They weren't carrying it as body-only.

I just got off the phone with Adorama and they told me to show up later today because they're getting a huge shipment of the kits to the retail store. I would imagine the warehouse would be getting at least as many...
 
Ordered body-only from Adorama on Monday afternoon. Delivered Wednesday. (Great Adorama service, as always.) Took it out of the box, charged the battery and went out to shoot some test footage.

Will post footage shortly.
 
which store has lowest prices (with kit)?
im from Turkey and gonna order to my friend who is living in states currently.
