im gonna buy with kit which place has the cheapest price? i saw BHvideo offering special warranty for 3yrs im living in Turkey and that warranty is reall needed? what do you recommend guys ?

I presume you mean the 3-Year SAGEMAX Protection Plan. Since you're outside the USA, Canon USA won't cover you. You can add this aftermarket plan which covers more than Canon USA, for a longer period of time and for which coverage is worldwide. The warranty company's website is here.

I don't know why people keep purchasing these warranties. I go with squaretrade. I walked (using coupon codes) for $89.00 for a 3 year mechanical warranty With drop protection. If it slips out of my hand down a flight of stairs, falls in a lake, or I spill a cup of coffee on it I get a brand new camera.
They have 5 days to fix it or cut you a check. There is nobody out there who can touch their prices or provide drop protection.

Have you ever used their service? I mean, have they repaired a camera or cut you a check?
 
Not for a camera but for the iPod that my girlfriend put through the washer they sent us cash -$50 deductible for accidental damage. I think their policy is slighter more strict for items that are $500+.

Yes i was talking about 3yrs Plan.Since im living in Turkey gonna order T2i to my friend who is living in NY currently he will be in Turkey few months later.So im gonna use camera alltime in Turkey.If there will be any damage to my T2i i can send back to my friend (U.S NY) again for warranty change.Sorry for my bad english
 
Just bought the T2i (body only) today together with the 50mm 1.8 canon lens. Still in stock. Hurry! I'm so excited. Cheers!

I haven't dropped my camera. They did replace my cracked iphone and my brothers flat panel 50" TV though. You get whatever you can buy it for at the time you break it. I just insured mine for $799.00.
They are basically an insurance company.

That warranty according to Amazon cost $189.00. I would love to know how you got it for $89.
