So I did some quick and dirty tests of the MJPEG changed to 24fps and couldn't see any real difference. Shot the same stuff as 30fps tests. No motion artifacts to my naked eye. Was very stable. Reads as straight 24 not 23.976. I think I will try it for awhile. Did notice bit rate dropped 5-7 Mbits (from mid-30's to 27-28 Mbits). This was expected but still looked as good as 30 fps stuff. Is it possible that with the additional bit rate headroom created by going to 24 fps, we could tweak lpowell's settings to get it back to the mid-30's range? lpowell? Anyone?
