Dodgers scored five in the bottom of the eighth to break the tie and go up 10-5! Say hi to Nancy Drew for me, Ted. :) I can't stand the pink bats. The pink wristband, ok. Pink bats? Are you poo pooin' kidding me?

haha! "Nancy Drew" huh? I hadn't heard that one. I figured that you must have meant J.D. Drew so I looked up his career. Yep!

Anyway, I was JUST SAYING that I appreciate all of this "Mother's day" attention and such but the Pink Bats have got to go! I said the same thing that you said.... the wristbands, maybe. But the bats???? NO WAY!
 
Oh, Jim.... I wanted to tell you. I set up my crane today to try and tighten up that "looseness" and discovered that several of the bolts needed tightening! I was stunned at how losse some of them were. I wish that I would have thought af that before that last shot.... may have made your shot a bit tighter.

I had no idea that the bolts would work themselves so loose, so quickly.

Yes, mothers are COOL.

Pink bats, not cool. It looks like standing there in the box with a giant tampon applicator!
 
I was just informed that the pink bats were used to help support breast cancer. I guess I didn't catch Vin Scully yap about that (he yaps about everything else).

Boy, now I feel like a schmuck! I still don't like the pink bats on the field, though.
 
Well, I am VERY happy to say that the footage that we got on Saturday looks great. I was very concerned about the lighting.... I tell you, I was vowing that I would never to shoot anywhere but in a studio. The sun was killing me... blowing out the background of what was a beautiful forground. But, as I said, the footage looks good. I can definitely use it.

Thank goodness for Charli's Vidleds! Shooting inside of a vehicle is tricky! But that is why I wrote this film like that.... to learn how to do it!

I have 3 more days of shooting... right down to the wire!

Hey Ted. Just catching up a little bit here.

Thanks for posting your clips of your "experiences" while shooting. I checked out the van "action" clip. Reminded me (a little) of a shoot earlier this year where I was shooting for a friend and was in the back of a panel van shooting forward at the driver and passenger. The scene called for a stop. So the actor slams on the brakes - and yours' truly almost ended up catapulting between the driver and passenger and through the windshield. Funny ... at least later. Suffice to say that immediately thereafter I put on a harness and everything was good. But that was nothing compared to almost being mowed down by a vehicle in reverse. Glad you guys survived.

As for the cop stop footage (which was great) I do have one question: How did you get the cop to sign a release?:Drogar-Love(DBG):
