Why the Sony Z1u is still more expansive than the Canon XH-A1 , I know canon is sharper :huh:

Simple answer is that Sony chooses to set its MSRP that way.

the sony has better (more pro) audio control. thats one factor.....

The Z1 is also NTSC/PAL switchable, so that's another factor.

No doubt I think the Canon is the better buy for most, but the Sony does have some unique features.

Hell, it's a mid-range Sony; even the XLR audio inputs have noise!
