Smuggler's Ransom- OFFICIAL THREAD

brandon, don't know if you are aware... there is a board called Arts & Faith that focuses on the spiritual dimension of filmmaking. a number of reputable film critics for christian publications post there as well. might be worth your while to contact some of them for interviews. be warned: this is more of a Bressonian crowd than say, an Omega Code crowd. but it couldn't hurt to reach out for support.

oh, sorry... I meant that as relating to Robert Bresson, a filmmaker who focused on a deeply austere recording of spiritual experiences, devoid of emotion. Bresson described himself more eloquently: "The more life is what it is -- ordinary, simple, without pronouncing the word 'God' -- the more I see the presence of God in that."

UPDATE: Sent several copies of Smuggler's Ransom out... (yes, yours went out Blaine! hehe) we sent it to two distribution companies, as well as to two film festivals.

Didn't quite finish on Sat. so we're finishing the interview tomorrow afternoon, then I think it'll go online about two weeks after that. I'll know an exact date later on.

For now, I have been diligently working on the FULL DVD,with loads of special features. It's coming along nicely, so hopefully by the time a company wants the film, I can present them with a sweet FULL DVD.

There is hopefully bigger news to come in the upcoming weeks! Please get the word out if you like what you see! Hopefully in the very near future DVD's of the film will be able to be purchased :) Thanks!
