Smuggler's Ransom- OFFICIAL THREAD

Interesting that one of the more common critiques is that it's too short. Not one of the more common criticisms heard around here. Must not be too bad if audiences want more.

Congratulations.

ANOTHER Film Festival?!

ANOTHER Film Festival?!

YEP!

Just received word and saw that Smuggler's Ransom will be showing 13 TIMES! During the week long Orlando Christian Film Festival, which actually started on Thursday, October 16, and runs until Thursday, October 23. The festival had 13,000 people attend last year... this means big exposure for the films showing... we hope this helps get the word out even more on the film... if you are or know anyone in the Orlando area, be sure to check it out, it's free of charge.

Kind Words!

Kind Words!

A few months ago I had the chance to meet Doug Jones (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0427964/) who you'll recognize from many films and TV shows... I gave him a copy of Smuggler's Ransom for him to check out, and he sent me an email this morning with some kind words about the film, just thought I would share :)

"your actors were fantastic, especially the hero guy. Terrific conviction / salvation scene with him."

Thanks Doug! :beer::beer:

Smuggler's Ransom Trailer

For those who haven't seen the trailer... I've posted it on the first page, and will do so here as well! Enjoy!

Yep, made more than the budget for the film, we were in the "black" before it was released.

I have since worked on several shorts, a TV pilot, and a new Christian feature called "No Greater Love" that was recently released by Lionsgate.

Brandon, I just found your film on netflix - I guess there wasn't a problem being only 50 mins? Just curious, I thought they looked for longer length for a feature. I understand for tv shows and a collection of shorts it would be different. Just curious thanks.
