Thanks! And yeah, Justin's work is fantastic!

I certainly hope we get some distibution. I have high hopes :)

Stringing all the posts together might be pretty cool! Kind of a cool idea for a special feature!

UPDATE: Made a few minor CC changes tonight, also added film grain to chopper shot to make it match with the footage better. :) It's looking good. Justin's score is all in, Sans the end credits music. I also think he's working on a cool special feature on the score of Smuggler's tonight :)

that would be so awesome!! Please do it! ..if you can that is :)

Will there be a dowloadable version of your film online?

Unfortunantley, no. We will however be attempting to have as many screenings of the film as possible across locations in the United States. The reason we cannot allow a public downloadable version is we're proactively seeking a distributor for the film. Thanks.

1) Looking forward to checking out your site to see the stuff...tomorrow, though. Trying to prove to myself that I CAN get offline before midnight....

2) Very interested in how you pitched things and what you showed and possibly promised to the three separate private individuals.

UPDATE: End Credits all finished today. Will be picking up the final sound mix from Justin Krause tomorrow night, and then all we await is the final FX shots, and this puppy is done!

UPDATE: Picked up the final sound mix and plugged it in, it sounds AWESOME! Justin really did a terrific job on it! We're pressing to finish the final FX and get the DVD out to several people for screenings (Rebecca Dunn in Washington, and Daniel Noa in Virginia) I'll also be screening the film at a private college in Ontario, CA on Friday the 23rd (still semi-tenative).

Just got the FX from Mark! I've got a few notes, and I'm sending them off to Daniel, we'll get our notes into Mark tonight, and then finish this puppy! I also spent a long time last night designing a DVD menu!

A screenshot from the DVD menu (work-in-progress) (The screenshot from the film is actually a video montage that plays in that upper right section)

It's been really great to watch this thing go from concept, to shooting, to post production, to post post production... just really cool.

Thanks for sharing this with us!

The DVD screen looks really sharp. I hope the helicopter is included in the video montage, you should milk that shot as much as you can. :)
