After we succesfully failed at finishing our entry for All Hallows fest, here we are again :D

This time it is a much simpler project, so it should be possible to pull off our first Fest entry.

It will be shot on the HVX200.

Update 19/03/08:
Finished the first draft of the script.

Location is locked as well. Now I have to build the set. Well, it is not alot of work, but it has to be done.

Update 11/03/08:
Bought the first prop today. I paid 5Euros and with this amazing high exchange rate, that makes an astronomical budget of 7.67$ already :D

Update 19/04/08:
Whoa, bought two curtain holders today. That adds 15.81$ to the budget.

Update 11/05/08:
Oh yeah! Wrapped this thing yesterday at 10pm :)

That was a long day, but it was alot of fun! Had to compromise quite a few things, but such is life. Now its time for post production.

I still have to take a few pickup shots and later I have to make lots of audio recording.

I love the title and that is a very cool poster. Did you shoot a picture of that smoke? Very interesting.

LOL at the cast and crew! You are gonna be a busy guy! :grin: (btw, my first film was a solo project... a one man show!)

We have to thank google for the smoke. Did not shoot it ourselves.

Yeah, will be a little bit busy... especially acting and DPing :D But it should be doable!

Well, I am looking forward to your film.

I just love the "do-what-you-gotta-do" style of filmmaking. Not often as glamorous as large crew filmmaking but usually filled with heart and soul.

We had a small meeting at the SINAMON PRODUCTIONS headquarter tonight. Mr. Tripod, Mic Stand and Mr. Steadi just dropped by for a couple of beers.

We are pleased to announce that Mr. Tripod will be our Camera assistant and Mic Stand will be our boom operator. Mr. Steadi would love to be involved in our project too, but right now there seems to be no position that fits. :cheesy:

Yeah, he doesn't talk that much, but where he comes from there are alot more :D Maybe that adds to our production value...

Well, actually this is more of an abstract film. Going into the art direction. Sadly it is not possible to integrate some nice girls storywise.
 
Well, now that I will write my thesis half a year later (read here), I should have plenty of time to work on my entry :)
