Hi,

i have a 7D. It is possible to attach a sigma lens like this direct to the canon 7d body?

Sigma 70-200 mm F2,8 II EX DG APO MACRO HSM

Should i buy this one: Canon EF 70-200 mm f/2.8 L USM

Is this Lens great? Please help

cost: 500 usd more than the sigma but canon :)

i don't know if i need f4. I need it for shoot film.

I never had something like that :)

Help me to choose.

Indoor shooting without a light setup will warrant the purchase of the 2.8. Outdoors, f/4 will perform quite well. OK, so you won't get the creamiest bokeh. But you also won't be schlepping around a telescope.

Why do you want this focal length range?

Hi,

what you mean with sleeping around a telescope?

I don't now really. Another guy told me that this could be a good start:

17-55 and 70-200.

I want only to make music videos and short films. I do not exactly know what i need.

My goal is to make music videos and film. I like the DOF Effect

What would you suggest. You have maybe more experiance

Take your time and don't buy anything until you understand why you want it and how you'll use it. It sounds like you may need a primer on exposure. Wikipedia is a fine place to start. I still go back to this book when I need a refresher. I've learned a lot from this site. Here are some more links:
