C200: Shipping Date

I'd also like to know if anyone who ordered from B&H is still waiting for their C200. Or, if you recently received yours, what was your order date. Someone in a FB group said they just got their camera on Tuesday and ordered June 6th from B&H. Adorama says "More Coming Soon" and that they should have more in stock in a few days. I'm not sure if those are pre-sold or not, I asked the other day but they have been slow to respond. Anyone from any sellers have any info on when they ordered and when they recieved their camera? I'm ready to place an order and would like to start using it as soon as possible. Have a great chance to use it on a multicam event in 6 days, but I don't expect to get one before that.

B&H told me that I would get my camera within 7-10 days about 8 days ago, and I ordered my camera on July 3rd. I was also told that I was 3rd on the list, so I'm definitely a part of the next shipment. But they have yet to tell me an actual date they are receiving the next shipment of cameras.

Finally got my c200b in today after cancelling my order at Samys and placing an order with b&h only to find that the joystick on my grip isn't working

Also, as I discovered, if you have had the CN-E 18-80 T4.4 on the camera and turned on the grip zoom and left it on, your grip joystick won't work other than to zoom the servo on the 18-80 but will not control the menus. But once you take the 18-80 off and replace it with a still lens, it goes back to working. You don't have the CN-E 18-80 mounted do you?

I was kind of hoping the joystick had the same functionality of the c100 mki where a click is a hot key for ISO/WB/Shutter. I'll managed likeni do when I shoot on my c300

Yep, I do that all of the time and then remember I am not shooting my C100. It's a shame it now takes two hands to access the menus with the joystick. Oh well. Also, FWIW, I think the rosette is a big improvement over what we had on the previous generation of cameras but that LANC connector is still substandard, it's only going to be good for a certain number of cycles, then it will get sketchy. I wish Canon could figure out a better connector set up, Mini BNC connector or something positive and locking. Same with the DC power connector, it's touchy and not good, especially when it begins to wear. These are the small things that better cameras like Arris, Varicam and REDs seem to do better. It must cost more money to put better engineered connections on stuff that is going to get used thousands of times over the life of the camera.
