She said she'd take her cloths off, I got my cam..

Just kidding.......

My friend was wanting something for her reel (fashion type stuff) so we took a few hours over the weekend and shot some footage. This is obviously WAAYYY tooo long and has a lot of crappy footage that can be cut. There was no lights, no planning , just shoot and see how it turned out and then reshoot what works. One thing I learned was DSLRs are just terrible for jello. (lock that baby down!)

Anyway, just thought I'd post and get some opinions before I erase it.

wowww thank you for brightening my day!!! Damn she is sexy, i liked it alot man...not just because you have a gorgeous girl taking her clothes off, but for just wingin' it, it came out quite good!

Good shooting. The chick's a bit on the skinny side, but cute enough. I like the set. Is that someone's apartment or what? I could use a place like that on my current shoot.

Here are my thoughts:

Why the hell doesn't he follow her!?!?!?!?!?!?!

Maybe because she took off her push up bra.... hum....

It's actually a photo studio that I do stills at. It's just the way I setup the shots because the place is kinda small. After she walked by him and put her hand on his shoulder she actually walked into a corner about 1 foot out of the shot. (she kept laughing after she walked into the corner)

My fault. I actually had planned for him to follow her on the very last shot (out of focus / DoF) Things got a little hecktic and he was the first shots and I wanted him gone because she was gonna be topless during a lot of the shots and I was trying to make her comfortable. Believe me, when the bra came off, all was right with the world. (didn't hurt that the AC was full on also.)

I think it looks great (so does she). Besides the impossible look (she can't be behind him), the shots with the man and the woman don't fit together somehow. Maybe add some stylistic choices to balance that, or to emphasize the differences.

Also, there is a little camera shake when you go to her feet.

Very well done overall, and again... Good looking girl!

Sexy girl. Some great shots of her. The backgrounds look a bit blown out, though.

Her come hither look was off the charts but something was missing
in the interaction with the man. He looked a bit too pervy. Maybe the way
he was craning his neck back to get a look.

I'm not really sure why you didn't feature the push up bra. We don't really get a good look
at it until it's on the floor, and you can't see how it's working with the blouse she is wearing.
I don't think pointy is what we are missing here (not that it wouldn't be nice) but these
ads are generally about the cleavage, and we were robbed of the cleavage.
Maybe you were a little to eager to see something pointy. ; ) (Lucky dog.)
Now as a panty or garter commercial maybe you got something here.

Lots of good points to the video, but still missing a couple of important ones.

Thanks guys, That's the kind of feed back I was looking for.

@max Now that you mention cleavage and her blouse, I really feel like a dumbass. THAT's what the whole thing is supposed to be about! I think I was trying to make it more sexual than product oriented.

"Maybe you were a little to eager to see something pointy. ; ) (Lucky dog.)"

Now that I think about it, This probably isn't far from the truth. I was trying to make her feel comfortable being topless and it turns out that when the clothes came off my brain turned to mush.....................Least I know I can't shoot porn now. (I'd never be able to figure out how to take the lens cap off or hit "record")

easy to forget stuff with all the pressure of a shoot. A shot list can help.
Maybe you can call her back and get some more um.. (un)coverage. : )

I thought you did a great job

I thought you did a great job

I have a question for you ? Did you have someone operating the camera or were you directing and operating the camera?

I personally find it very difficult to do both and get the emotions or shots need this way.
I felt you did a great job when you take into account that neither of the actors were pros, a short handed crew etc... shot sheet definitely helps though.

If I were to be critical at all I would save you took a hair to long getting from the street to her undressing, no pun or joke intended, lol...

Great Job !
