SGpro Day 4

wow your really shooting up a storm there! great stuff. footage looks great. how is that shoulder rest working for you. does it help you shoot handheld better? where did you get it and how much for? nice stuff!

Yeah, I can't put the thing down. I have to soon though, I am flying to Chicago on Wednesday. Maybe I will bring it if i can get it on as carry-on luggage. The support is pretty cool so far. I have to adjust the position of the grips. They are made by Cavision, the grips are about a hundred bucks and the shoulder support is about the same, maybe a little less or vise versa. They just slide onto the rods then tighten down, they are pretty sturdy as of now. Unfortunantly, the SGpro rods are like 30cm or 40cm, and there is just barely enough room to get the supports on. there is pretty much zero rail left on either end, but I plan on bringing the grips close to me like underneath the sgpro because it was like holding 10lbs out infront of you with your elbows straight. I got it off ebay as a bundle for 115USD so I got lucky

thanks matt, i actually didnt have nearly the amount i needed to buy all my stuff. i borrowed a lot because i didn't want to wait any longer.

yeah its a cool song but i ran out of footage before it got to the odd part with the nurse and doctor talking

you really made a "day 4" footage. I was just kidding..haha.
but it's cool man...nice video.
can't wait to see you start makeing movies and etc

but ryvac, i made this just for you! i might squeeze out a random video tomorrow (SGpro Day 5) because I will be in a different area. But then I probabaly wont be using it for the following week, but starting right back up with SGpro Day 12...

I am in the middle of storyboarding a BMW commercial for fun, i figure its a easy thing to do to get used to the adapter in a cooler way

that's what I'm talking about!!!!
no one buyes an adapter just to shoot their backyard and flowers.
maybe you should enter for the TimeFest or something.

Why not, I bought my whole setup just to have fun and shoot flowers and ****!
Just joking, well sort off, I planed on using i for profit once I learnt how to use it. I bought it with the intentions I wouldn't make money for a while with it.

Yo Steven my man, another awesome display of your talents. You are really nailing it now mate, keep em comin, can't wait until EP 12 or so!!!!!

Thanks Shaun.

I actually like shooting random stuff. I just need to find a job that needs footage of this random stuff. Plus I am just too lazy to try to put something together, but I am hoping I can soon.

First off, cool footage and interesting song choice (Tool is great)

I can tell you switched shutter speeds towards the end, and I was just curious if you went from like 120 to 60? I preferred the beginning shutter speed because it looked a lot more like film. The end shutter speed had that blur thing going on whenever you would move the camera.

Anyways, cool stuff.

She's in a photography class and is using a consumer camera? jk.

Nice footage.

PS. I ordered my SGPro with Follow Focus and got the Type 1 Lens Gears, but I kind of want the Type 2 now. It doesn't dispatch until May 11th, so can I change my order?

Hey wreck2,
Yeah she uses a consumer camera, she is only 16 and in an elective photo class. I think she wants a canon Rebel though or at least she talks about it a lot. I don't know anything about the ordering process, just email Wayne from their site I am sure he can help
