SCRIPTS - I Got 'Em

Chris_Keaton

ScriptFEST Mod
As you may know I write screenplays, a lot of damn screenplay. So if you need one that doesn't suck let me know. I could write you one that sucks, but I'd rather not. I must say, I'm not interested in getting a short produced if it will only be used for this fest. There's nothing wrong with this fest, but its pretty much like making a porno for your use only, you need to let the world see that s*%t. So that is my goal, to get something shot that the world will see or at least some other film fest audiences. So if that's your goal well then I'm your man.

As for the theme of war. The first script that comes to mind is my #1 ScriptFest winning script...

A DREAM OF ELECTRIC REVOLUTION

When peace breaks out one warrior vows to fight on only to discover the truth about the war.
- Classic Sci-Fi - Needs abandoned locations - and a s*%t ton of props(robots)

Now for a broader definition of war.

A HANGING
Villagers capture an enemy and feed them to the rope.
- Disturbing - Needs a forest and a mob - and a baby(fake is fine)

Ok, here's one.

Pain and Suffering

In the fog of war a monster roams.
- I have to actually write this. I'm seeing a twisted horror set during a battle. Just think when you shake a bush, you never know what is going to come out.

If I come up with anything else I'll post it here or if you have a seed of an idea you want me to grow let me now.

I'm curious about "A DREAM OF ELECTRIC REVOLUTION". I have a special affinity for robots and a couple of abandoned places. Send me a link if you don't mind. I never got back to you last fest, but I have a lot more free time now.

Also, for a seed of an idea, I was thinking about the scene in 'The Day After' where the soldiers realize - after seeing that their own missiles had launched - that they were going to be hit one way or another. An expansion on that might work; how people deal with imminent or at least very likely destruction. Not sure where else to go with that, but that's why I'm not a writer.

I have abandoned locations aplenty but alas no robots! They all sound good. When and where is 'A Hanging' set? Is there any chance I could read a treatment?

Hi! I'm very interested in both "A dream of electric revolution" and "pain and suffering". Could it be possible to take a look at them??

Thanks a bunch!
