Not restrictive rules at all, although the theme might be somewhat - purely because of the sheer amount of "first contact" films out there. It'll be a challenge trying to come up with something original, but maybe I'll get involved just because of that challenge.

Not if it's human or Earth borne animal or genetically engineered from earth borne stock. It must be an actual Alien.

The idea is to produce a script that may get shot by some of these filmmakers on this site. I'll allow a longer script one of these days. If you go over you can always compete as an exhibition entry.

Possibly a silly question, but in terms of "alien contact" can it be purely sexual...? Oh whoops, wrong forum.

Ahem... can the alien contact be through telepathy or some sort of mind meld form, or perhaps a dream? Or does it have to be pure physical contact between humanity and one or more alien beings?

I've got a few ideas ranging from various kinds of alien contact and want to just make sure I know the limits before I get down to the writing.

A question regarding the threads for each entry - can we write about the process / concept in the thread prior to posting the script or does that violate the spirit of the script page limit? So if we noted things about the setting in the thread does that compromise the entry.
