So, I can only have 6 on the camera at once?

So, I can only have 6 on the camera at once?

I just want to get one thing clear with the camera. I can only have 6 scenes set at any one time? I can have numerous sets on an SD card, but the camera will only store one group of 6 at once?

Do people have SD cards they keep with their gerar that they use only for scene files? I'm thinking that must be a normal thing to do.

Yes, I'm wondering this too and don't see that there was ever an answer. Clearly, the numbers in the scene files do not correspond to the numbers set manually in the camera.

For example, GAMMA is set to a number in the SCENE#.txt files e.g.:

...
0000300c: 3 ; GAMMA
...

but when adding settings to the camera manually you can set Gamma to Normal, Low, High, Cine Like D, etc.

So, does anyone have a list of correlations? Like
"0000300c: 3 ; GAMMA" = Gamma set to "High" (or whatever it really means)
"00003009: 128 ; MASTER PED" = Master Pedestal set to -15 (or whatever...).

(I'm just making these up, these are not actual correlations.)

I'm asking because I am going to do a test shoot with an HMC150 that I am going to borrow for a shoot. I'd like to create a few scene files before the test to load on it when I borrow it. Time is short and I want to maximize testing and not spend a lot of time manually setting scene files up, so I'd like to be able to set them up in a SCENE#.txt file before I actually have the camera in hand.

Also, how compatible are DVX100B scene files on the HMC150? I don't mean text files but settings. I've got some favorite DVX scene files and am wondering if I can set the 150 to the same settings and expect similar results.

Also, what is the directory structure for the SCENE files for the 150?

I have an SD card that has saved SCENE files from the new HPX250, and the directories look like this:

PRIVATE>MEIGROUP>PAVCN>SBG>P2SD>Scene files in here, e.g. "SCENE1.TXT"

But I'm guessing that the "P2SD" directory at the end of that chain is not the same for the 150 (since the 250 is a P2 camera and the 150 is not).

Can anyone tell me what the directory structure is for the SCENE files on the 150? I know the top level is "PRIVATE" but no one has said what folders are below that one.
