Hi everyone,
Just back from the IBC2008, ( very cool by the way
), where I found some intresting tripod systems.
Everybody know that Sachtler is making pritty good quality tripods, but the pricing is also very high.
So what if you want a tripod with the same quality but a much cheaper price.... you should check out the "Secced" tripods.
I never heard about it, entill I saw them on the IBC2008, so I did some testing, and I must say there realy good!!
Compared to a Sachtler you pay 1/3 of the price, and the quality is exactly the same.. ( tripod is even better, but those are my words...)
They got 5 different kits, all depending on your camera weight.
You will get a 100mm fluid head, heavy duty tripod, floor spreader, all in one package...
For more info check:

Cheers,
PS: If money doesn't matter, you should go for O'Conner....
