Good times, indeed. We will be posting a whole bunch more photos this week with many of the DVXUSERs who posed on the red carpet as well as some more industry peeps.

I think people were expecting something more "penguinish" rather than the dapper fellow that you are. I gotta admit that you've got somewhat of a Hugh Grant-ish charm going for you Penguin. Glad you were able to make it and I hope to see you attend many more events down the road.
 
Good to hear Mark, curious to see who is who on this board. Since I was one of the losers who got drunk sitting at a laptop watching the stream.
 
There's no shame in getting drunk sitting on a laptop and watching the stream... some might say you're quite the playa'.

I was intrigued by your apparent decision to be a "stealth" attendee, Tommy. What's the deal with the low profile anyway? I was looking forward to introducing you to some people but every time I turned around you were hiding out. And no pictures??? WTF? Dude, you gotta start being a little bit more self-promoting. You've got a great look and you definitely should be showing up in these pictures. It's hard for me to imagine you as self-conscious or intimidated but, jeez...... For there to be 9 Jack Stanley photos and NO TommyInLA photos kind of says something, man .....

The reason why I wasn't getting around and hanging out was I was in a LOT of pain that night. I was standing still for 5 minutes talking with Brandon and Mark and then went to walk around and had a sharp pain shoot straight into my leg, so I had to sit down right away. So it's not so much that I was avoiding anyone or anything, I just HAD to get myself out of pain. The 3 Advil and 2 Vicodin just weren't cutting it... Did you see how badly I was limping around when we were trying to get our cars from valet? It was bad...

I had felt better earlier in the day. I even went out and spent about 300 bucks on some new clothes to wear. I was really bummed that I wasn't able to meet a lot more people, but I just couldn't walk around.

Matt, I don't care what people say about you, you're alright! lol


But on a good note, I've found myself a chiropractor who seems to be really good so I'm pretty sure this whole back thing will be gone pretty soon and then it's off to the races, so to speak... :beer:
