Cropping issues - anyone get this?

I am shooting on my HVX 200 using the 720p24 16x9 format. When I import to FInal Cut Prp 5.1.2, it is cutting off the left and right of the image and making it a 4x3 image. If it were a matter of resizing the image to offset for a non-square pixel image, then it would be distorted, not cropped. Anyone know what settings on either the camera or FCP I have to do to fix this?
Also, is my current footage messed up now or can I fix that?

THANKS!

I haven't worked with that format but I think BenB's your man...

Also, you're more likely to get the help you need by posting this in the FCP forum. (You want to help him with that, John?)

It sounds like your sequence settings in FCP aren't correctly set. Do you also have red render bars above your footage in the timeline before you have applied any effects--that is a sure sign of a mismatch between your footage and your sequence settings. Make sure your sequence is set to DVCPro HD 720p. If your settings are correct, it may just be that you need to expand the window in which you are viewing the footage--try setting the window to 100% and clicking the green button.

Hope one of these suggestions helps.
Kevin
