Red Camera (photos)

This looks awesome! I love the holes for the mattebox rods in the handle cage. And that 'cage one' rocks too! Looks like a very tough little bugger...

It is a cool looking camera, but who's gonna be the first Red shooter to get gunned down by police trying to film a documentary in the city!!! ....I'll wait till they develope the Red "bullet proof" filmmakers clothing line.

why can't it look cool and be a great camera? Someday when it comes out it will look better. Remember the super 8 HVX mock up?
 
this is crazy. It might be awkward carrying that thing around. might get shot.

why is it called RED ONE? I liked it as just RED.

Sorry but does Red go underwater too? Looks like a underwater camcorder shell. Kind of looks like a cross between the Predetors arm and a rocketlauncher as well. Cool. Maybe.

that was my question as well, it looks like that shell would make a sweet underwater housing, just would need a bubble for the lens.
